With the convenience of a library that has tables and chairs without the required silence and limited movements, the Ngee Ann Polytechnic linkway allows students to stay in campus by giving them additional 350m2 space to study.

It also provides suitable area for activities that may require larger spaces, eg group rehearsals and even eating and drinking as vending machines are available nearby. The fresh air and the greens surrounding the area may serve as destresser to the frequently pressured polytechnic students.

The students have been enjoying this priviledge for over 14 years now as the project was completed in 2006. The membranes still look brand new with the use of PVDF fabric, making it more convenient and less expensive as it is more resistant to environmental damage than paint and metal.
